Doggie Etiquette

When one dog sniffs another's butt, is it considered rude if the one being sniffed farts?

Ok - you win. I fail the stress test to keep on my friends list. This and the last entry were a BIT too much.

one down quite a few to go.

Re: Woot

I like your new user pic.

I would think farting, in dog language, would actually be considered:

'cooperation, or helping'.

Re: Woot

Indeed. I would think flatulence would give the sniffer much more information and insight into the sniffee, and thus be highly appreciated.

Of course, timing is everything. If the sniffer had made it clear he didn't like the sniffee, and afterwards the sniffee farts, that could well be taken as a deliberate provocation.

Considering how much our dogs used to like to roll in cow pies, I'm thinking flatulence would be an added bonus, as far as a dog is concerned.
