Boating season

This morning while walking Barney I got the treat of seeing a sailboat wedged under the Fremont bridge. I am not sure what happened, I can't image the guy was silly enough to try it, he wasn't even close, probably about 6 feet too long. He was wedged under the pedestrian walkway on the channel side of the bridge. I think his motor might have died and he drifted there, they didn't open the bridge until a tug came to tow him away. And they did tow him, so maybe the engine theory is a sound one. Channel seven news (I think) was filming it, so perhaps there will be some information as to what happened.

Further down across from sound mind and body gym, there was a really drunk man in a small motor boat, giving everyone the finger. Just sitting there, not really looking at anyone in particular, holding his arm high middle finger extended. I am not sure how long he was doing that, but I was there for about 10 minutes and he didn't rest. About 20 minutes later he had decided to take a nap. His motor and boat were banging against the rocks with each boat wake, but he didn't seem to care. Someone had called the police, but they hadn't shown up yet.

The joys of boating season.

I should copyright my DNA. Then if I were ever sued for paternity, I could counter-sue for copyright violations for the derivative work!

  • New 3 Mile Time

Beat my old time by a few seconds, but the old time was with no incline, the new time is at 1% 3 miles @ 1% incline - 20 minutes 54 seconds.
