Grizzly Weinstein [userpic]

Weeeeee, feels good. I should have taken care of it months ago, but it all worked out.

I called Sears. They had a bad address for me (somewhere I have never lived) I think they accidentally changed my address to an ex-girlfriends when she moved out of my house and had her mail forwarded.

A few months ago (maybe more) I purchased sneakers and a few other things. They were having a 20% off sale if you used your Sears card (I lost mine years ago). They were able to get my account number from the computer, but for some reason were unable to change my address at the store.

So I called today, since I need to pay the outstanding balance and have my address changed. The original charges were $53.03, my current balance was $163. I was quite upset and let them know if they had not changed my address for no reason this wouldn't be a problem. Apparently due to the operator's accent and my not so good hearing I didn't notice that she told me I only needed to pay the $53.03 and that she would drop all the other charges. Oooops, I apologized.

Now they have my address, I can go back to never using my Sears card (which I still don't have).
