Florida can be boaring

When I was out jogging last night, I came across a pack of wild boars! I was running up towards them and they didn't see me; I wasn't entirely sure what to do. There were about six of them, the smallest was at least 100 lbs. I yelled as I got closer and they ran off into the woods.

It was really funny because this place FishHawk Ranch is super-suburbia. There are some woodlands throughout which is where the boars probably sleep during the day.

Current Location: Tampa, Fl

I knew Lithia sounded familiar. Just looked at the map, saw Lithia-Pinecrest Road and a huge lightbulb went on over my head.

So, the hospital in (Brandon Hospital) that area is where my kiddos were born.

There used to be a great Greek fast food place near the hospital called "It's All Greek to Me" where they make The Best Greek Salads Ever. I imagine they've either long since closed or moved. Anyway, I couldn't give you an exact location except that it's in a strip near-ish the hospital. I used to live across the street in one of the townhomes and we would walk over when I was pregnant and get a salad. Which was often. Believe me.

Overall, I've got mixed memories of the area. The good ones are more out toward Turkey Creek and Plant City, but that's altogether another story.

Funny thing is, I grew up in Tampa but didn't even know Brandon existed until I was 16. All I knew was USF - the area I grew up in.

Oh yeah, and boars are pretty common all around - not just that area. As are bobcats which are really cool to see in the wild.

Okay, now I'm just rambling... I stop now. B-bye.
